The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

We have less than a year to get rid of weak, corporate centrists and milquetoast Democrats heading into the midterms.

There has to be a 2 to 4-year culling project.

Have to get rid of all of them.

They are part of the problem, and they aren't made for this moment or built for this fight.

I could not ask for a more perfect representation of the core fascist philosophy: the anti-intellectualism of moral nihilism conjoined with a lingering sense that power is all that *should* matter and any exceptions to this crude worldview must be furiously destroyed.
"We live in a world, in the real world … that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time."

And with these words, Stephen Miller damns his soul to hell for all eternity.

Of course the ENTIRE PREMISE of modernity is that we've found an alternative to the law of the strong

That this is why the world is infinitely richer, freer, more peaceful than it was four hundred years ago

But sure, might irreducibly makes right, why not
Here is the Trump Doctrine, as articulated by Stephen Miller in his truly frightening interview with Jake Tapper this afternoon. It is very much like the doctrine of the dictators we fought and defeated in World War II and of Putin today. It is un-American at its very core.

It’s genuinely wild that the United States spent decades building an elaborate rules-based international order which de facto cemented its permanent status as the dominant global hegemon, sustained by ideology rather than might, and now is just blowing it all up for literally no reason

stop handing the mantle of Real Americans to these traitorous dipshits

this is our country too and we have much more respect for it than they do

they don’t get the concept of patriotism, they don’t get the flag (they revere a traitor flag anyway), let ‘em move to Hungary if they love Orban so much
one of my recent preoccupations is the visceral hostility the MAGA right has for the histories and traditions of the United States. these are people who spit on the Declaration and salute third-rate European despots!
It's striking that progressives like Tim Walz and Zohran Mamdani evoke the middle American attitude that, "Yes, we can fix these social problems because we're Americans and it's the right thing to do!" While the "America first" right only emulates failed and failing nation-states elsewhere.

The scary but obvious explanation for this is that the powers that be who control our news media disagree with Jeremiah Wright and they agree with Curtis Yarvin
so old i remember an entire summer where obama had to distance himself from jeremiah wright. i dont think the msm has ever once asked trump or vance about yarvin.
Curtis Yarvin, JD Vance’s friend & ideological influence, ended 2025 by claiming “only Hitler spoke the truth” about “too many subjects” & “Hitler was a genius.”

Extremism isn’t fringe on the right. Once marginal online extremists like Yarvin are influential at the highest levels of government.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Traditional American politics is premised on the notion that sometimes you lose and sometimes you win and you have to deal with that.

But Trumpism is premised on the notion that any result where you don’t win is illegitimate, unlawful, fraud, criminal.

You can’t negotiate with people like that.
