This is not how science works. At all. If you disagree with it, you actually have to do the work of *showing why, with actual data* that supports your alternative hypothesis.

Simply criticizing it may mean you have opinions, but they wouldn’t be informed opinions—or scientific ones.
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

The goddamn nerve of Jeff Bezos' newspaper to talk shit about raising the minimum wage at a moment when workers at Jeff Bezos' online superstore -- who are paid so little half of them in one study were on SNAP benefits -- are going hungry.

The fucking arrogance.
Wow, sounds like Jeff Bezos is mad

This fall has been an extra slow one for small businesses out here, and the tea house is $3.7k shy of where we need to be to make rent before late fees hit this month.

All this to say, if you have some tea shopping to do or friends to point our way today, we'd sure appreciate it!

In Chicago, a woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her car. Armed agents jumped out of the vehicle, yanked her door open, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.

Isn't it interesting how the historical polling shows Americans consistently trust Republicans with the economy right up until they crash it, so they vote for Democrats who fix things up, and they immediately go, "Republicans could definitely be doing a better job of this right now"?
New polls from Gallup, YouGov, and out of Virginia show voters now trust Democrats more than Republicans to handle the economy. Nationally, Dems now have a 4-point margin on the issue — an 18-point shift away from Trump since 2023. Time to update your priors
