it's not even remotely hyperbolic to say so
RFK Jr. is America’s Mengele, a similarly opportunistic sadist experimenting on children.

The US is losing blue-collar jobs for the first time since early COVID or the Great Recession—the country has lost 65k jobs over the last year as manufacturing, transport, & mining employment decline, while growth in construction has nearly zeroed out

The links to watch or read the testimony are given in this article. Take time.

“Donald Trump doesn’t like facing the truth. He certainly doesn’t want to be held accountable for it. You can watch Jack Smith’s full testimony here. You can read it here. It’s worth your time, and it’s worth sharing.”
Some thoughts about the 5th anniversary of Jan 6 & what we need to do to get it right, as well as what we have to avoid.

The fever is going to break one day and Stephen Miller is going to spend the vast majority of his adult life as a complete pariah. Like, people spitting on him on the street kind of shit. I cannot wait. bsky.app/profile/geof...
Here is the Trump Doctrine, as articulated by Stephen Miller in his truly frightening interview with Jake Tapper this afternoon. It is very much like the doctrine of the dictators we fought and defeated in World War II and of Putin today. It is un-American at its very core.

1). The US is in the middle of the worst flu season in a decade.
2). Pertussis cases are the highest they have been in 20 years.
3). Measles has rebounded and elimination status has been lost.
RFK.Jr. has not recommended vaccination, instead he is aggressively rolling back vaccine policy.

If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.

But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

Happening now: several hundred people are pouring into Chicago's downtown Federal Plaza.

It's 25 degrees outside.

Organizers are leading the crowd in a chant of, "no boots on the ground, no bombs in the air!"

Two protesters hold a large banner reading, "no war for Venezuela oil."

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Maduro is awful but this isn't order prevailing over chaos, this is a territorial takeover of one criminal overlord by another. I hope that a year from now the Venezuelan people are still happy and didn't go from bad to worse but Trump's track record on making people's lives better is not good.

Would a Harris admin have done this? No.
Abolished USAID? No.
Deployed ICE/CBP as an army? No.
DOGE? No.
Demand voting data? No.
Gut vaccines? No.

And on and on and on.

You know this. Just don’t want to own it.

The USA isn’t a country anymore. Just a handful of evil people and a compliant media and populace.
Whatever happens now, we absolutely cannot allow Trump's refusal to seek Congressional authorization for what appears to be a large scale military attack on another country vanish from the media discussion, which already appears to be happening.

Right-wing media spent weeks in a bad faith (or deluded) effort to cast this obvious investigatory step as partisan and devious. Senators tried to award themselves half a mill for it!
SMITH says he had evidence that Trump directly ordered alleged co-conspirators to call senators on the evening of Jan. 6 to try to continue delaying the vote ceritification.

He also had evidence that Bannon said Trump was still "on fire" on evening of Jan. 6.
