A Robinturong. It has a binturong’s head, hind legs, and tail, and a European robin’s body and wings. I’m sure it still smells of popcorn, but robins are fighty little sods and I wouldn’t want to get close enough to check.

Have you noticed there's this set of words we now use for hybrid fantasy animals? And that we've absorbed these words so thoroughly that we don't realize it would've been baffling a short time ago?

Where my daughter can say "Dad, I got an icemerpuppycorn!" and I know exactly what she's describing.

Is this a good time to say I've never seen a raccoon?
It's a racoonicorn, obviously. You know, body of a unicorn, feet of a unicorn, head of a unicorn, hands of a raccoon (they've got human hands, right?), head of a raccoon (on the back, like a catdog kind of situation), mane of a unicorn, tail of a raccoon (in place of a horn), haunted gaze of a unicorn, cute little face of a raccoon, some hasty shading on the body.
