3 things I learned from #NightOfTheLivingDeb:

1. Zombie baristas can be super pushy for tips.
2. Bicycles will have slightly less use after the apocalypse.
3. Fireworks at home are always a letdown.

Y’all, Spotify’s stock price sunk by 5% in 1 day. YOU did this by spreading the word to boycott them for running ICE ads.

These billionaires only speak one language—money—so let’s keep up the pressure. Tell everyone you know to cancel their Spotify subscriptions. Send them to BoycottSpotify.com.

Considering we've only seen schematic renderings, I don't think this gets built.

It takes years to get fully coordinated drawings. I doubt these exist and certainly not construction ready

Even if you bypass permitting, I think this ends up as a hole in the ground and stalled vanity project

So sorry for your loss. Does this pup have a strong bond with you? I wonder if a transcontinental journey servs her better than a western home.

I’m disgusted by the photos of Ttump’s demolition at the East Wing, but I’m even more sickened by the renderings of his mar-a-lago ballroom dwarfing our White House. Once we’re rid of this despicable man, that ballroom must also be removed.

This is what we need to do in NYC.
In Milwaukee, police will now be able to impound any vehicle driven recklessly.

Everyday Americans love seeing Donald Trump demolish part of the White House so he can build a big golden room to have cold prime rib with his cronies

They really didn't even finalize and announce any consistent details about what the plan is or what this thing will look like when it's done. It's all vague and contradictory. This isn't how a major construction project works. It's how a toddler playing with his LEGOs works.
No mention at all of the fact that Trump doesn't have the legal authority to do this, that plans haven't even been reviewed (because the office is closed for the government shutdown), that the size and cost estimates keep changing, etc., etc.

I'm not a West Wing obsessed lib or anything but the more I see pictures of this the more fucked up I think it is. It's like he cut off one of the hands of the Lincoln memorial with an angle grinder so he could add a big gun to it.

You gotta imagine how weird it felt to drive that backhoe today just looking back at everybody going “you sure about this everybody’s sure about this?”
Behold: Republican permitting reform.
