Well, the law review submission cycle is starting up again, so it's time to share what I've been working on: a 2,000-word article on the batshit commercial in which AI overrides Matthew McConaughey's hierarchy of needs: defector.com/salesforce-i...

CHOTINER: So you learned this technique in school?

DR: No, not— listen it was good advice. Pagliacci was in town.

C: Right. Is it standard to give advice before learning a patient’s name?

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

I see a lot of visualizations of one year of a person's online dating (a 21M from London in this case). Seems miserable. Is getting drunk in a bar or club making a comeback as a dating strategy? Source: buff.ly/ZvAbOdz

So, originalism. Got it.
Perhaps, folks using it fundamentally don’t understand what AI does? It’s garbage in, garbage out. It can manipulated; it can double down on its own errors the more it makes them. It strikes me as very dangerous path to go down for academics to go down when we can read for ourselves? I don’t know.

I can’t get over all the journalists and centrist pundits who sneered that “Twitter isn’t real life” when it was full of weird leftists but now insist it’s a vital window into the public mood when the entire site is Nazis, illegal porn, bots, and Belarusians calling themselves “Iowa MAGA Farm Guy”
thinking about how long leftists were blamed for making twitter inhospitable for MPs who are refusing point blank to leave now it's full of nazis and child porn
