I’m not a beggar and I’m not seeking pity.
All that’s going on is that I’m a father trying to get my daughter’s treatment after losing my income because of the war, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any help to speak of. 💔😔

My mom took me to see Jurassic Park in theaters when I was like, 8 or 9 and I had no idea what I was in for. I'm pretty sure she didn't either. 😁

Also The Little Mermaid (1989) and Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Don't know if any of these are "flexes," so much as very fond memories. 😊
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

Very sad news. For years preventive standard for colorectal cancer has been first screenings starting at age 50. We’re seeing it more and more in people in their 40s, 30s, and even 20s. The American Cancer Society recently dropped their recommendation to 45. Be aware of potential signs and symptoms:

🚨 Please help
My child is critically injured and fighting for his life after Israeli drone attacks in Gaza. He urgently needs medical care outside Gaza to survive. A donation or even a share can save him.
Please don’t look away — donate or share this appeal.

The location, which was built as an Amazon distribution center, was chosen because of its proximity to railroad tracks. It can house up to 10,000 beds (not people -- beds), and will be equipped with a medical incinerator.
A warehouse in south Kansas City could be sold to the federal government to become an ICE detention center. That warehouse, owned by Platform Ventures, had received a $21 million tax incentive from the Port Authority of Kansas City.
Platform Ventures got Port KC tax incentives to build a warehouse. Now they’re selling it to ICE
Platform Ventures pitched a warehouse development as a job creator for south Kansas City. Port KC is concerned that a sale to ICE would undermine job growth in the area.

The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill, masquerading as “fraud prevention.”

The GOP is using this bill as a Trojan horse to restrict voting rights and maintain their hold on power.

The new voter suppression bill—called the "Save America Act"—would require 21 million American citizens to produce passports or birth certificates to register to vote. Most don't have these documents. This is a poll tax by another name.

The "Save America Act" is voter suppression dressed up as patriotism. It targets naturalized citizens, trans Americans, tribal citizens, and natural disaster victims with extra barriers. Don't let the name fool you.

Ugh this is gross. Promising to find lost dogs and then using the data to track humans without a warrant.

I used to have a Google camera to keep an eye on our back door. But then they said they were feeding all the data to AI and there was no way to opt out. So the cameras are in a drawer now.

I learned from this that I'm not doing enough to fight this off, that I'm absolutely letting this autoimmune disease end my life. I cant keep doing that—not ready to quit.

But treating this is wildly expensive, and I cannot do it alone. Every coffee turns to medical care!
