There's a lot of talk about how men create societal problems b/c they can't keep it in their pants but Olivia Nuzzi has created a generational health disaster because she thought leatherface was fuckable

If you go look at her twitter, nuzzi was (is??) supported by A LOT in the DC press corps
We need to have serious conversations about 1/ nuzzi was never, ever a “genius” or “unusually talented writer”, 2/ the DC press corps is highly problematic

Trump’s economy sucks. 32,000 jobs were lost in the private sector last month.

The policies of Trump and rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people.

And what is Trump focused on? Making his Great Gatsby ballroom even bigger. And sleeping at Cabinet meetings.
🚨 CNBC on latest jobs numbers: "A big miss on ADP payrolls. The private payroll company saying private payrolls shed 32,000 workers in Nov. That's the 4th negative number in past 6 months. The estimate was for +40,000, so the street was off ... this may be coming from being hammered by the tariffs"

The boat strikes are illegal. Dope couriers are not military combatants. So killing them with air strikes instead of arresting them is murder. It’s that simple.

We need to be able to see that the line "accommodations have gone too far" is an expression of the ableist notion that disabled students do not belong in higher ed. Its fundamentally an anxiety about the fact that disabled students get an "advantage" over abled students.

This is what frustrates me so much about these articles: Propagating the narrative that large numbers of kids are faking disabilities is just going to result in a world where disabled people are *even more* scrutinized when they ask for accommodations!
My kids go to a "rich" public school. My daughter is 7 and cannot read; she is a sweet, caring, intelligent child, but if you spend a moment with her it is clear that she has ADHD an order of magnitude more serious than what you think of when you hear "ADHD." Anybody questioning her IEP can fuck off
"Rich kids are gaming disability accommodations to gain an unfair advantage" is actually very different from "America has an extra-time-on-tests problem" — and the author hasn't proved that either! Rich kids might just be more likely to be diagnosed.

RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

Little context: many retailers now create cheap versions of higher brand products just to sell on Black Friday. Like Target for instance. You’d do better to look for deals on bigger ticket items at off season times of year when they’re moving out old stock. Black Friday is a scam in so many ways.

Except there is no crime here! Ferreira is not a criminal, is supposed to be protected from deportation by DACA & was in the final stages of obtaining a green card. The issue here isn’t a crime, the issue is whether the Leavitt family are trying to use the gov’t to deport an ex & obtain sole custody
