I saw myself
a ring of bone
in the clear stream
of all of it

and vowed,
always to be open to it
that all of it
might flow through

and then heard
“ring of bone” where
ring is what a

bell does

worth noting that the second rich people stopped being afraid of mobs tearing them limb from limb, they stopped building libraries and opera houses and stuff and started ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of society instead

Some people are asking what I want Schumer to do. He should be screaming over medical care and access to facilities. He should be going to detention facilities himself and putting his body on the line, as he did at the border in 2019. He should lean into stories about New Yorkers in detention. [1/4]

JEFFRIES:
We can do this the easy way or the hard way.

TRUMP:
The hard way.

[ONE WEEK LATER]

JEFFRIES:
I was not prepared for that.
Donald Trump must fire Kristi Noem immediately.

Or Democrats will initiate impeachment proceedings against her in the House.

We can do this the easy way or the hard way.

And if any Democrat is interested in not having elections stolen with ICE’s help as planned by degenerate Epstein pal Steve Bannon, you might wanna stop pleading and mewling to the fascist enemy and use all your levers of power NOW. We could use some fucking help, frankly. bsky.app/profile/iwil...
Steve Bannon,
"We're gonna have ICE surround the polls...We'll never again allow an election to be stolen."

The degree to which "America" is a bill of goods sold to us by people have never believed a single goddamn word they've said about it has frankly astonished me. I figured at least some would be high off their own supply but nope, it's all red-white-and-blue bunting over Epstein Island to them
one thing the trump era has made clear, i think, is that the american people themselves are far more committed to the values of our founding documents than our elites

The president had his DOJ raid an election office and seize ballots. Now he is threatening to take over elections. Sadly, this is treated by legacy media as just another normal day.

The main argument against using judicial warrants in immigration cases is that it's inconvenient for the government. Is there an inconvenience test for the Bill of Rights?

Federal Judges have a very real and well-established reason to fear doxing and violence and yet I doubt anyone thinks it would be acceptable for them to preside from the bench in a hood.

Ladies and gentlemen, professional American law enforcement.

We are the shithole nation. We are the country that needs regime change. We are the beshitted totalitarian state.
Fucking surreal that people dressed like this and carrying assault rifles are permitted to kidnap people off our streets

The GOP is outraged that Jack Smith, with judicial search warrants, accessed the phone records of half a dozen GOP Senators who Trump and his people called on or around J6.

Meanwhile, DHS is doing the same thing to thousands, or 10s of thousands, of people right now, without a real warrant.

The good news is that Trump threw up the bat signal for all the most amoral grifters to come forward and enrich themselves (JD Vance, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, every podcast bro who endorsed him, etc) so now we know exactly who to purge from polite society when this is over.
This country isn’t divided between Democrats and Republicans. It’s divided between wealthy people who think it’s fine to do whatever it takes to amass money and power—including sucking up to known pedophiles for access to the elite— and the rest of us suckers who are not amoral monsters.

Russia is conducting a major terror attack on Kyiv, Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities at this very moment.

Trump is a fool, a liar and a danger.
Trump: "I did call up President Putin and he's agreed -- they have the same cold wave that we do, maybe different because it's pretty far away, but it's the equivalent. And Ukraine is a very cold country, much colder than us. I asked him if he wouldn't shoot for one week and he's agreed to do it."

There are ample professional disincentives to spilling the inner workings of a court; even misconduct is rarely disclosed.

Only reason to demand NDAs is if the Justices are engaging in conduct so egregious that the legal profession would recognize the need for court employees to disclose it.
