The Canadian Justice system loses $20 billion year.

The Canadian military loses $34 billion a year.

Canadian Health Care loses $372 billion a year.

Imagine if Carneys liberals talked about services like it does the Post Office.

-hormone replacement therapy is rarely, if ever, prescribed to youth under 16. At 16, you are allowed to make medical decisions without parental consent.

Polticians will always put corporate profits over Canadian lives. In our prisons. In our health care systems. In our schools. In forced treatment centers when they cant even fund odlr staff spots for those wanting treatment.

Corporatism over lives.

"Of these options, Sublocade is the only medication with an exclusive patent still held by a pharmaceutical company. That company is Indivior, which has lobbied Correctional Service Canada on “the application of addiction treatments within federal prisons” in recent years."

Who amongst Scott Moe's cabal is just like this?
1. In Alaska, the right wing govt handpicked doctors to the Medical Board to ban trans youth care.

A month after after, one anti-trans doctor was arrested for child porn.

The day after he was bailed out, his home burned down, with reports suggesting he was found deceased.

Our latest wild story.

Last week Dr. Ryan McDonough was arrested on ten counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. Over the weekend, his family home went up in flames.

How about Jason Nixon and the UCP come up with a plan where nobody loses any part of their body due to literally being frozen out by a negligent government?

What do we want?
- efficient transit
- to keep our central library
- maybe something nice like the ability to visit pretty flowers in -30

What will we get?
- vibes-only economic development
- an events venue in constant need of bail outs
- flying pigs - sorry, I mean, police in planes.

One way that the reaction to Rob Reiner's murder mirrors Charlie Kirk's is that the best way to eulogize each of them is to quote their words, and in both cases, doing so pisses off conservatives.
Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

Kaja Kallas: we have to be really clear-eyed. We have one aggressor and one victim. And the one that needs security guarantees is Ukraine, not Russia.

Police are seizing firearms? The only people I have EVER seen in Regina with weapons...is the police.
They're responding to mental health crisis calls? Why can't that be done by health services - as in people who are actually trained to handle it?

Overdose responses? Again, a healthcare issue.

As others have said, invest in and properly fund housing, shelters, mental health and addictions services, and we won't need to spend *half a million dollars per person* on policing.

Policing is bandaid treatment at best.

That's not even a joke. I've seen companies where you could replace the whole upper management with a chat bot.
Their whole job is to sound professional while having no idea what's going on. AI is made for this, they just don't know it yet.
