I was born at a very early age and now I'm here. Some things happened in between, but they're probably not important.

Really looking forward to having to prove my sex repeatedly in a restaurant, in the event I want to do something outrageous like order food or go to the lav
‪I’m actually going to need more calories in order to enact the violence I would rain down upon your restaurant lest you give me the women’s steak frites ‬

Perfect.

My kittens, adorable little murderfloofs that they are, actually predate Paramount Skydance's merger. You can't tell me that the company has got anywhere near sorting out the post-merger shakedown, so if they bought Warner Bros on top the result would be a) calamitous and b) hilarious.
BREAKING: Paramount Skydance has launched a hostile bid to buy Warner Bros. Discovery.

When I had my Spectrum+ I was pretty good at writing in BASIC. When I got my first PC I was over the moon to find MS-DOS had QBASIC, which I thought was the same thing. Reader, it was not and that was the end of that.
What skill did you master that you will never, ever use again?

When I was a security guard 40+ years ago, a number of posts had manual elevators. I got very good at getting the elevator to line up perfectly with the floor at which I wanted to exist.

I see Blur actually stuck to their guns on the new design... and they really shouldn't have.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

I was once in a small Soho members club where Richard Littlejohn brought his staff for their weekly drinks, he also forced them all to listen and laugh as he read his latest column to them in its entirety, one of the most humiliating spectacles I have ever witnessed

Remember when Luton got promoted to the Premier League and the armchair experts (and a good morning to you, Garth Crooks) said we'd smash Derby's points tally? He didn't manage to do it with us, but maybe Rob Edwards will get that record after all. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Wolves: Worse than Derby? Can Wolves avoid the unwanted Premier League record?
Wolves have had a nightmare start to the Premier League season but can they avoid Derby's unwanted record?

Good on Penn Jillette. Having to come to terms with your entire political identity and philosophy being wrong is not easy and most people could never do it.

I do think Starmer thinking things were basically fine before does explain a lot tbh
Keir Starmer - "I’ve always wanted a Labour government but I’ve never worried about the future of our country under a Tory government."

The words of a man so insulated from the harm done by the Tories he felt no compulsion not to continue the harm not being done to him and his.

So love wobbegongs. Everything is good about the wobbegong. Its name. Its flattened Oscar the Grouch face. Its frondy bits. Its lazy life as a hungry rug. And it’s a shark. Outstanding animal 10/10
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.
