“Palestine Action is the first civil disobedience organisation that does not advocate for violence to be proscribed by the British Government as a ‘terrorist’ group, in a Trumpian abuse of power which would have seen this Labour Government proscribe the Suffragettes": Ammori.

And these are the exact same people who have been using the “they’re coming for your daughters” line against trans people for years

Those of who who were paying attention knew that for what it was and are not remotely surprised by this as the end goal
The Heritage Foundation has released a 250-year roadmap to “save America.”

The document is a how-to guide for subjugating girls & young women: a detailed plan to push them out of college, funnel them into early marriage and motherhood, and then trap them there.

I really do think this is an excellent metaphor for the moment.
I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

This story is yet another example of the terminally online meets the cash incentive algorithms of social media brands. An - at best - amoral contract.
Hate-filled fake videos about London are everywhere. We've obtained a recording of a TikToker confessing to secretly filming Londoners in their homes for clicks.

He says it's not political. He just wants to make money from far-right anger.

It has long been my opinion that the rise of Trump 2.0 is fundamentally the result elites in every sector of society absolutely losing their minds over Me Too and the racial justice uprising, and every new piece of Epstein content just further validates this
New files released by the Justice Department show Jeffrey Epstein joking about being in a "pariahs club" and discussing the fate of powerful men who had been accused of wrongdoing.

Another person made the analogy here with dangerous drivers. A tiny proportion, but make us believe things are worse than they are.
Research finds that people overestimate how many social media users post harmful content--which makes us think the world is worse than it really is.
