one strange thing about the "AI" bubble is that the people pushing it are convinced that they'll make tech that will make a AAA game overnight, but they for some reason don't realize that even if they could, the existence of such technology would make the product unsaleable.

Sometimes I think it'd be a good idea for CEOs to be scored, Metacritic-style, based on how others evaluate how they run a company. I like to imagine it would encourage more restraint. Their incompetence does real damage. You shouldn't have to suffer executives just because you want to be a gamedev.

Another point I'd like to make on the revshare for this release -- this is something we all agreed on when we had to close the studio back in 2022, & that the Vodeo Workers United (yes, we still are all in contact with each other!! 🥹) was able to negotiate with Asher when agreements were sent out. 🖤
