Oh, hey! I wrote that one.
My favorite quest in Outer Worlds 2 is when you help a group of completely milquetoast middle managers try and find dirt on executives - and they have no idea what to do with it. Peak Obsidian.
We make learning fun!
I've always fancied myself a man of relatively high quality vocabulary, but after playing through The Outer Worlds 2, I've had to google 'a lot' of different words. This also happened with your game Pentiment, and holy shit, I now 'know' a bunch of new words.

Same. I consider deep diving archaic thesauruses part of the job. Sometimes to our voice performers' chagrin.
there is almost no feedback I will reflexively ignore as a game developer but “you shouldn’t name something X because people don’t know that word” is one of them. oh no! You might learn a new word! God forbid you take away a piece of knowledge from a game that’s not a brand of gun or some shit lol

Managed to get Wizard of Wor working on my Atari Gamestation Go via micro sd card and it's adorable.

Probably safe to say I have a legal copy of that ROM. (I actually have two. One is a back-up in a cake eyeliner case.)

I'm really happy that @seejackboyer.bsky.social used the final line from my third grade book report where I attempted to act in front of the class like I'd read The Omen IV: Armageddon when I'd only half-glanced at its back cover.
This is techniqually a spoiler for The Outer Worlds 2 but it's clearly not a satisfying story choice your supposed to pick so i doubt many will even see it

at the very end of the game, i picked to let everyone everywhere die lmfao

This is the second "news" article like this I've seen. It reminds me of Outer Worlds 2 where Good Neighbor Prudence says "This just in! Everything has been found to be splendid!" and the NPCs are like, "I was starting to feel sad my house is underwater; thank goodness the radio says I'm fine"

Someone noted that our game failed to solve capitalism and it reminded me how disappointed I was when the Jodie Foster film Contact didn't explain what happens when we die.

I adore the music video of the song that Udo Kier sings in My Own Private Idaho.

Fun fact: If you get the extra info out of Amos in that optional side mission, you have additional options in the final conversation with Auntie Cleo at the end of the Auntie's Choice faction questline (if you pursue it) and it can affect your end slides. It *may* change the company's future.
The Outer Worlds 2 just went to a new level for me. I was geeking out finding Amos was in this game. This made the game even better. This was very special moment. I wasn't going to do anymore side quest for little bit. But something told me just do this one. I'm glad I did.

RIP Udo Kier. You were surprising and delightful, onscreen and off.
After muttering "It is very dahk in here...," Udo Kier turned on all the fluorescent lights on at GameSpot and laughed delightedly when everyone screamed.

The Outer Worlds 2 complete. Wonderfully entertaining game. Kept me interested during my 24 hours of Extra Life Game Day and never let up on the action, story, and intrigue afterward. Great job, Obsidian, and I'm ready to find out what happens next. (please let there be a next).

After about 52 and a half hours, I beat The Outer Worlds 2 and got the best ending I could, not completely perfect, but close enough. That was my favorite game of 2025 and I can't wait to see what story DLC they have planned.

the outer worlds games truly understand what I want in a game: stealing anything I can get my filthy little hands on whether I need it or not, and making friends and forcing them to all live in a big house with me :)

Good morning to all my dear friends! 😊

I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day.

As for me, I plan to venture farther in TOW2 with a cast of companions that has absolutely won me over. Talk to them *between* missions, talk *during*, and immerse yourself in their questlines. It’s worth it.

So according to howlongtobeat.com, The Outer Worlds 2 should take about 51 hours to beat if you're doing absolutely everything.

...

I'm at 60 hours, and I haven't even gotten to the last area yet. I guess that means I really like yet another game from @obsidian.net! Shocking, I know. 🤷

Same. Our VO cast is amazing.
I love how I’ll be wandering through the Outer Worlds 2 and hear some random Order Suppressor and go, “Oh, that’s Brandon Keener.” Or James Urbaniak or Elias Toufexis, etc. Such distinctive voices.

Rolling into a series of twenty-six films with a light, insouciant air. Like a simple dare, as if I haven't bounced off six-film series practically immediately.
