A company was planning to inject chicken shit deep into a Virginia aquifer. Why? Because that way the carbon emissions stay underground, and the company can sell the carbon credits to Microsoft who can claim it toward their net-zero goals.

We didn’t think the leopards would eat the resale value on our houses.
My friend lives in Roxbury NJ where ICE is trying to buy a warehouse to convert into a detention center and she says they’re trying to fight it. Apparently many of the people fighting are Trump supporters who voted for deportations but are worried the concentration camp will ruin property values.

Call me a filthy commie but I think if we're going to have a carceral legal system it's probably more important to prosecute the child sexual predators and murderous fascist goons than kids who shoplifted, and if we're doing the opposite maybe we're doing everything wrong

I think it is OUTRAGEOUS that people are LEAPING to the conclusion that some our post prominent Americans are child rapists when it is EQUALLY PLAUSIBLE that they are simply indifferent to whether other people are child rapists so long as those other people can offer them access to power.

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll
