Fewer than 60,000 people – 0.001% of the world’s population – control three times as much wealth as the entire bottom half of humanity, according to a report that argues global inequality has reached such extremes that urgent action has become essential.

This “McDonald’s AI ad was months of work” reminds me of the BBC guy and his algorithm that measures abuse of MPs - also “months of work” and when we pointed out his list of abusive words contained no racist slurs but did include “racist!” he never tweeted again

Being a British parent is so weird bc you're actually worried about paying the sky high rent/mortgage & getting GP appointments but the entire press keeps telling you you're worried there's a trans person or immigrant nearby & the vat on Eton means there'll only be two skiing holidays this year

One thing for having 10yr olds in the house is that every time a football commentator says that a teams' defence is in sixes and sevens, at least one of them will suddenly yell "SIX SEVEN!" at the top of their lungs.
