Right after he leaves, and I'm done moving the couch, I do some googling and I find the number for the code enforcement office. I file a complaint about his conduct with the supervisor.

I don't appreciate being threatened. I'm allowed to be irritated, so long as I comply, and I did. (4/4)

I do so, and when I come back outside, he tries to give me a door tag. I ask if it's informational or a warning of a fine. He says: "informational... for now". I start dragging the couch back from the curb, and he immediately gets in his truck and leaves in a huff. (3/4)

Obviously, I'm a bit annoyed that someone is jumping up my ass so soon after I'd put it out, fully intending for it to be taken within hours. I tell him I'll move it after I take what was in my hands inside. (2/4)

I had an interaction with a code enforcement officer the other day.

I was outside doing stuff in the yard, and they pulled up (sideways across our driveway, blocking access completely) to complain about the couch I'd put on the curb the night night before (1/4)

I'm really grateful for both the Beeper and OpenVibe apps. They are absolutely invaluable. Beeper also being on the desktop is incredibly awesome. I hope OpenVibe follows suit, I would love to use that as a desktop application.

The cheap 100W four port USB charger that I have, is flaking. I've owned 3 of them: one died completely, on another, the USB-C 100W output stopped working, and on the 3rd, the 100W output is starting to flake.

Caved and ordered a higher quality brand.

We've lost another #StarTrek legend. The great #RIPRalphSenensky, the director of 7 great TOS eps like "The Paradise Syndrome" & "Metamorphosis", wrongly fired form "Tholian Web," and then lived long to blog and share it all, was 102. Blessed to have talked/hosted him for us all.

Guinan, from television's "The Next Generation" series is pictured. She's on Ten Forward and looks amused.
