WSJ: SpaceX trying to push the bag onto index investors ASAP.

Can’t describe how predatory this is and if index providers carve out an exception for them or other large IPOs it’ll be a huge hit to their credibility IMO.
Exclusive | SpaceX Seeks Early Index Entry as It Prepares Massive IPO
Advisers to company CEO Elon Musk have reached out to major index providers seeking ways to secure earlier inclusion in market benchmarks to lift shares

Doomposters on here are going to handwring tha the administration has already won but instead of posting, the correct answer in this case is to sign up to be a poll watcher and saying “I’d like to see you try”
There were 89,000 polling places in 2022.

8 states have all-mail elections.

At least 5,000,000 Americans marched in the October No Kings demonstrations.

They have 15,000 guys. They couldn't "surround the polls" if they wanted to.
Steve Bannon says the federal government is planning to send ICE officers to patrol polling stations during the midterms.

"We're going to have ICE surround the polls come November."

"We're not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again." www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

It's such a funny framing, because what does Jeff Bezos care if a thing he likes owning and thinks is cool loses a couple million dollars a year? It's like you or me going out to get a coffee instead of making it at home once a week.
Bezos isn't destroying the Washington Post because it isn't profitable. He's destroying the Washington Post because he's calculated that a robust free press threatens the ability of his class to warp society around their interests

the reality is this: the strategy of aggressive BUT PEACEFUL confrontation and disclosure is working. it’s dramatically transforming opinion of ICE and made my city’s plight the top story in the world for weeks.

violent resistance (excuse me, “direct action”) would be devastating to our cause

To me it is tragic that, just because of several hundred disgusting email exchanges with an international sex criminal, CBS viewers will be denied some of the most outrageously specious "wellness" advice imaginable. How are people going to find out about the chalk supplements he sells now?

Your job is to represent the people of New York.
Your job is to actually effectively manage your caucus
You are not especially good at either of these jobs, you should probably not try to take on others
Doesn't seem like this should be his job

I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable.

Biden himself said they were fabricated!

Again, you would do well to block all of these Alt [Federal Agency] accounts. Theyre basically all a really toxic combo of doomerism, misinformation, and clickbait
I missed this one in the chaos this weekend, but AltNPS appears to have taken this image directly from Brian Krassenstein on X. It's the same picture, just cropped.

Krassenstein, who also sucks, posted this pic at 8:55 AM on Jan. 25, six and half hours before AltNPS.

O’Keefe:

“No, it's more terrifying than that. It's not transactional.

They actually believe in their cause.

That truth is going to be hard for most people to understand or accept.”

"don't start with a compromise" is the very first thing you learn about negotiation. the fact that Democrats always do exactly this is how you know they are a controlled opposition and not a serious party with beliefs or goals
Republicans seem to inherently understand if you aim for Jupiter you can usually force your opponents to AT LEAST meet you on the moon.

Even if Schumer doesn't want to abolish ICE (which he should), aiming for that makes dramatic progress more likely.
Chuck Schumer's starting position should be as maximalist as possible -- complete abolition of ICE, resignations of Bovino, Homan, Noem and Miller, unmasking of all agents, and prosecution by state authorities of the murderers.

Don't start with what looks like a compromise half-measure.

To avoid the possibility Holocaust remembrance might lead to empathy for migrants, Trump's antisemitism envoy claims Anne Frank "was in Amsterdam legally."

In reality, Margot Frank received a summons to go to a labor camp on July 5, 1942. After ignoring this call, they were in Amsterdam illegally.
