Georgia’s urban counties are always in need of election workers. It’s a paid position because the non-disclosure agreement is unenforceable on volunteers, but as a poll worker I was the difference between “you have to use a provisional ballot” and “let’s fix this so you can vote today.”

If people really are determined to wargame catastrophic election scenarios—a thing I’m not even on principle opposed to!—they could at the very least learn how elections work
one thing i have noticed is a lot of folks do not seem to understand the difference between a presidential election and 435+ legislative elections. i have seen any number of people say that you could subvert the outcome this november by targeting “swing states,” which does not make any sense.

using "the other guy sucks!" as a voting tactic is bad both because 1) if you announce you're willing to vote for a bad candidate just because the other guy is worse, that's all you'll get & 2) it clearly doesn't work, as evidenced by how the worse parties win at least half of the time anyway
