I gave up on Adobe when it went subscription. I just wanted to buy it and use it, not have to pay for it every month forever with ever increasing costs, justified by increasingly useless features (AI).

Adobe is not tanking because ChatGPT is a better / faster image creator. Adobe is tanking cause its customers make images by hand and have switched to other products that don’t constantly shove AI bullshit down their throats.

The reason Adobe is declining is because they keep jacking up their subscription fees while failing to offer software worth those fees. And there is now enough competing software that does most of what Adobe does better and cheaper, so many professionals have been migrating elsewhere for a while now
