FIONA APPLE
Extraordinary Machine
(2005)

How is this album 20 years old? Regardless, Fiona just doesn’t miss and this one might be my favorite of hers. So much is said about her singing and songs, but I feel like her piano playing doesn’t get enough love. Such a distinctive style.

It’s not a great deal if you don’t need it. And especially this year, others really need support. So for all of us who have enough, let’s refuse to get sucked into the holiday shopping frenzy and share instead of shop. We don’t need more stuff, we need communities where all our neighbors are safe.

“Little Reichstag Fires Everywhere”

That’s it exactly.

All of Trump’s policies spring from malice, bigotry, and idiotic fixed ideas, like trade is being ripped off. When they wreck everything, he lies. When a random evil event occurs, it’s an excuse for more malicious, bigotry, and self-harm.
If you think there's going to be a response to this other than Little Reichstag Fires Everywhere until midterms, you are sadly mistaken. The good news is, people seem to be sick of it.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

She didn't want to deploy to D.C.

"She hated it. She cried about it."

But she started visiting monuments and museums and started enjoying it.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Ronald Reagan refused to acknowledge the AIDS crisis. Even refused to help his "friend from the Hollywood days" Rock Hudson.

George W. Bush waited 7 years to recognize World AIDS Day.

And now we are back to a POS GOP POTUS who will ignore it.
