Don't Rest Your Head remains a certified horror classic, the game that made this "Evil Hat" company stand out to me in the 2000s.

(Also prompted convention convos about sleep health!)

Your inventive indie game can transform the hobby. Don't ever sell yourself short!

Harry Connolly (@byharryconnolly.bsky.social) is one of my fave authors.

He needs $ help. harryjconnolly.com/17553-2/

For a good binge read, grab his completed epic fantasy trilogy The Great Way.

His "A Key, an Egg, an Unfortunate Remark" is the best standalone urban fantasy I've read.

Okay. So. I need to update everyone on where things stand for me, why I have made almost no progress on the new novel in the past month, and how things are looking for the future.  What I don&#8217…

God, I loved these books. Still do.
I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.

This art is by Jean-Léon Huens. These covers are for the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. They lit my imagination on fire as a kid.

They were nice enough to give me a free code for this bonkers typing game and I loved it so much that I had to write about it. It’s like Streets of Rage meets Mario Teaches Typing. Silly and fun and nails the feel of every correctly-typed letter feeling like a punch. The dad joke mode is a dream.
