🚨WHOA. The El Paso Medical Examiner says it will rule the death of a 55-year-old Cuban man at ICE's "Camp East Montana" tent camp as a homicide.

It's hard to explain but the things that happen in the world are the ones that matter? Politics only matters insofar as it lets you make the world the way you want it to be. (Obviously the other problem here is that these people want the world to have a lot of state violence)

I don’t think they’re misreading them so much as they are terrified of the implications because it means the status quo has to break. there’s no incrementalism for this. mass radicalization of this scale scares Democrats more than anything Republicans could do and I mean that literally.
Kind of feel like a lot of politicians, even in Minnesota, are misreading the implications of this moment. I feel like the past three days have been tremendously radicalizing for so many people. I have witnessed it even in my own small communities, it goes beyond just incandescent rage.

I can't describe how bad Minneapolis feels right now. My neighbors are pulling kids out of school. The public schools are offering remote learning until 2/12. We are having conversations in our alleys about how to protect ourselves. It feels like a military occupation with a blockade.
