It's me, hi, I'm the one screaming "LOG OFF", it's me
He/him. UK. I occasionally make EBM/industrial music as Trellick. I hate fascists & bigots.

Do you like EBM? I've released some more EBM as Trellick. It's hot, it's sweaty, it's great. And there's even a remix by @digitalgeist.com to get things even hotter!

It's PWYW on BC trellick.bandcamp.com/album/muscle... or find it on your streaming service of choice #ebm #electronicbodymusic

Nocturnal Animals or 20000 Days On Earth. While I've seen far worse, I thought both were insufferably self-indulgent and incredibly tiresome (although in v different ways, and Nocturnal Animals I found to be actually unpleasant to watch) and begrudge the time I spent in the cinema
fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

The constant condescension about ai is another aspect of it that makes me hate it more. The assumption is you can only be against it because you don't understand it like I do. No man. I don't like voluntarily making every human enterprise dependent on a tech run by a tiny group of financial maniacs

extremely this and with the comical jokerifying part that Reform are incredibly obviously going to do this _even more_ and grift more for themselves but the gullible voters who aren't just voting because they're xenophobic fascists somehow don't realise this
My hot take is that successive governments refusing to fund councils properly and putting more and more responsibility on them at the same time is part of what drives voters to reform (obviously fascism and racism and xenophobia and sexism and homophobia and transphobia also all a big part of it)

Every now and then without talking about it, me and my husband get our tabby cat and pretend we are cat show judges. We talk about her stature and get her to stand with her head and tail out, like judges do at cat shows. Then, as if normal, we carry on with our day.

I am 100% convinced that even if it wasn't initially the plan, when the AI bubble bursts, techbros will use the vastly increased PC hardware costs/scarcity to push a thin-clients-at-home model very, very hard.

Not just for the profits, but for the complete surveillance and control, with no offline

Saying "I never liked his work anyway" will be acceptable specifically when something actionable/consequential eventually comes out about Jared Leto since it'll let everyone identify whoever the hell it was that _did_ like his work

To give you an idea of how deranged the UK has become about gender stuff, here's Enid Blyton - the absolute avatar of classic English conservatism and a huge fan of racist "gollywogs" - casually describing a gender non-conforming kid in the 1940s and having their friends be totally cool with it.

The problem with going out to a goth club (which I do infrequently these days) is that it always reminds me of all the things I _like_ about doing this, making me want to go more, but also all the things I really do _not_, making me want to go even less!

In the pub. Goth fest is on. It's pleasing and heart warming to see goths look like they could come from any era from 1981 to date and you couldn't tell. They're still here. Like an anchor in an ever-changing society.

I rang in sick for work, not because I was ill, but because our cat, who has never once given me a second of affection, fell asleep tucked into my lap. There was no way I was moving anywhere.
