It's me, hi, I'm the one screaming "LOG OFF", it's me
He/him. UK. I occasionally make EBM/industrial music as Trellick. I hate fascists & bigots.

Do you like EBM? I've released some more EBM as Trellick. It's hot, it's sweaty, it's great. And there's even a remix by @digitalgeist.com to get things even hotter!

It's PWYW on BC trellick.bandcamp.com/album/muscle... or find it on your streaming service of choice #ebm #electronicbodymusic

The NHS closed Tavistock over trans care concerns – there were just eight complaints all from cisgender people.

1. JK Rowling

3. Helen Joyce
4. Graham Linehan
5. Kathleen Stock
6. Posie Parker
7. Wes Streeting
8. Rosie Duffield

NHS closed Tavistock over care complaints – there were only eight
An eye-opening FOI report has revealed that just eight people complained about the Tavistock gender clinic's care provision in 10 years.

If it's just me, as soon as I am Not Feeling It.

If it's something I'm watching with Lady Companion, we came to an agreement early on that if we both weren't feeling a movie, then we'd give it 10 more minutes then it's done.
If you’re not vibing with a movie, how long do you usually give it before turning it off? #filmsky

me: this EBM track I'm working on doesn't make its non-quite-actionable threat clear enough
also me: wait what if I added a sample of Ash Sarkar talking about how you absolutely should not fucking tolerate fascists, would that make it clearer?

joke's on my school because it was certainly a school with ASPIRATIONS and TRADITIONS but there's no household name alumni who have Excelled In Their Chosen Field
Among Brits, the ‘who is the most famous person who went to your school’ is verrrrrrrr much wrapped up into omniscience of the class system in the UK.

in an era when carnivore diet influencers are in charge of the american nuclear arsenal we have to admit the "annoying vegan" stereotype barely ever actually existed and the "all meat diet guy" is real, increasingly omnipresent, and way more annoying and inconvenient to actually be around

The entire right wing relies on the British public not understanding:

1) Tax brackets
2) Inheritance tax
3) Inflation

And it works. Every time.

the only explanation I can think of for why I like the music I do is that I must have somehow encountered this at a young age and imprinted on it youtu.be/KYeMjDTPv3A?...

I think this is right but also some people just aren't very bright! not necessarily something you want to argue loudly, especially about "your own side", so people keep trying to come up with other, better reasons, but frankly: sometimes people reply stupid things to posts because they're stupid
Whilst “three-cueing” does often fit, I feel like sometimes it’s an overly elaborate explanation for a much simpler truth: a lot of people on this website have progressive values but a reactionary mindset

Was thinking about this yesterday, how the "bring back proper British high streets" discourse rarely challenges Reform-voting types on what they mean (because often it means bring back long-irrelevant chains from the 80s and to get rid of shops displaying pride flags or selling foreign food)
Levenshulme is the part of constituency least likely to vote Reform - if anything walking down the street we're up to our ears in Vote Green signs. I'd think of our high street as pretty thriving - we have really good grocers, much better fresh produce than in supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants etc

The plan for today is to start pondering Things To Wear at a festival two months from now (yes, I overplan too far in advance, what of it?) so obviously this entails listening to Swedish EBM from 11 in the morning at high volume in order to Get In The Zone

I think one understated thing that's super important here is seeing a politician who has actually had a real job (indeed various!) and hasn't just gone from PPE course into the pipeline to MP & landlord without ever actually existing in the real world that the rest of us live in 😍

When I got diagnosed with IBS (which I appreciate is sometimes a comic aside/joke type problem in media) the doctor said there'd likely be periods where symptoms subsided for a time.

I am still hopeful that there will be one of those periods at some point, but I guess it's only been six years.
