According to Reuters, over 600 Americans were fired, suspended or investigated over social media posts about Charlie Kirk.

That’s not including those who had their visas revoked & were deported.

There’s no free speech anymore.

Which is why we need to keep speaking up

They can’t punish everyone.

Made it through the shitty Mulroney years and survived the horrific Harper years but I have a feeling that Carney is going to be the worst Prime Minister of my lifetime. He is a goddamned disaster for this country. C'mon NDP. Get me someone I can vote for.

Any day you get to hand-feed chickadees is a good day. Having your all-time record of three on your hand at the same time is pretty much the best day you could ask for.

Huge moment in this interview with @frankdomenic.bsky.social.

NDP leadership candidate @avilewis.ca puts proportional representation on the national stage and makes it the non negotiable democratic reform we need.

When leadership contenders acknowledge the core issue, the national debate shifts.

The UCP brought in the recall petitions and now they are panicking that it is being used against them.
Keep it up Alberta resisters.

It's official: The CDC is no longer trustworthy.

Its website contradicts 40+ high-quality studies involving 5.6 MILLION people.

The reason? RFK Jr. is Health Secretary.

This is what happens when politics replaces science.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

"My kid didn't get into her program because she's white."
"I can't find a home because all the immigrants took them."

Oh fuck off, all of you.

Just cuz I suspect it's gonna be relevant: "underage women" is a contradiction in terms. There are adults and there are minors, who are children. Ditto "nonconsensual sex." That's rape. The only reason to play semantic games is because you benefit from obscuring the simplicity of these terms.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.
