I have been trying to save for a solar-powered generator for a while, and one of my problems is that they all seem to be tied to apps. When the company dies/is sold, what's to stop them from bricking my generator? Never mind that if I need a generator due to a disaster, cell signal ain't guaranteed.

I don’t think the North Star for decisions made today should be thinking of this particular type of guy, assuming that he’s watching now, and guessing that he might not require full bigotry but at least needs to see that a candidate doesn’t mind it.

Lastly, stop telling children and teachers that they need ai skills. They don’t. Perhaps focus more on digital rights, and creating competent users of basic software, or people who can type, or convert a pdf, or understand bcc in email. Ai for work? Why not jira or workday then? See how silly it is?

FYI: AI in education, ai teachers, ai degrees.. all of it is for the poor. The rich won’t be sending their children to schools full of screens and chatbot teachers. And they will be doing philosophy, business, international relations degrees. Not “ai”. It will be a sign of wealth to not use ai.
