The Baldur's Gate 3 official mod manager made the mistake of allowing mod authors to assign non-exclusive categories to mods, and making "Quality of Life" one of those categories. It is functionally useless, including everything from cheat mods to bug fixes to new hairstyles and character classes.

They should stop teaching gamers words. Between "QoL", "bricked", and others, it seems that any new word they learn rapidly loses any and all of its meaning and instead becomes a vibes-based tool to express, at most, vague frustration

It all feels super intentional in the original that Tifa and Aerith play against type. The busty kickboxing girl who works in a bar is reserved and insecure and has trouble expressing herself, and the healer girl with the staff and the flowers is flirty, street-smart, and knows how to work people.
