ultimately I think it has to be the same answer as "There are several billion other people on this Earth, millions who could do anything I can do, what makes me valuable?"
I don’t think this is a narcissistic injury, but it is an egoistic injury. And it hurts a lot! If a computer can do everything I can do, what makes me valuable? This is a difficult question to answer
seeing a machine do something that you previously thought was unique to your cognition, and opening up that capability to anyone, is to many people a deep narcissistic injury. this explains much about the social environment

Not going to link to the article because fuck it but anyone saying “the work/life balance might not be feasible” is trying to use you and pay you very little and wants you on the survival mode teat. Ignore them for the parasites they are.

Possibly insane take: I think a reason I initially fell off Bob's Burgers was the inclusion of more lengthy, scripted musical bits. I never thought the characters' voices, or the show's style of loose, ad-libby comedy, were a good match for it. Never thought it was playing into the show's strengths.
