If we are going to use AI correctly, this is the way.
We built Jikipedia, a new wiki that compiles Jmail data into exhaustive reports on key figures in the Epstein scandal.

It lists all recorded visits to Epstein's estates, each person's possible knowledge of Epstein's crimes and laws that they may have violated.

A good point to aways remember that all the time, effort, and money that is spent on evil could do so much good if we weren’t lead by evil, worthless people.
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

For American democracy to survive, we must as a country learn to embrace the beauty, the awesomeness, the Americanness of our cities.
Homey little songs about how cities are amazing and you feel good when you wander around them and they're where you're from and you couldn't imaging living anywhere else are one of my favorite microgenres.
We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

Nothing about our current moment is comprehensible without understanding that:

1. Until 1965, white men decided who was president.
2. for the next four decades, every president elected was either a Republican or a white male Southerner.
3. Barack Obama was the first exception to the above.

My first Power Rankings vote of the 2026 MLS season!

It's not really a "vote," though, because now it's just me. Telling you who has the most POWER.

I believe we have just found the plot to the Who Framed Roger Rabbit sequel. Happily, we know how it ends for Elon.

This is so insane to me. Pretending that a politician is just basically a passive opinion poll digesting and regurgitating machine seems a dark highway to very ineffective, milquetoast, corporate politicians at the mercy of career pundits.
A critique I hear of me sometimes is that I don’t believe in changing public opinion.

What I would say is that I don’t really think *working politicians* should be focused on changing opinion, that’s the job for everyone else — go out and persuade someone!

"Previous estimates showed the US economy generated 584,000 jobs in 2025, the first year of Trump’s second term, which was deeply discouraging.

Now, the picture is far worse: The newly revised, final data shows that the U.S. economy actually added only 181,000 jobs..."

I just read a very affecting account of the relationship between Polish and Jewish socialists before and during the Holocaust. You see this exact dynamic from Poles at the time. They would say to Jews: “we support you, but we can’t condemn antisemitism because we need to recruit the working class”
I am so sick of these faux ‘left’ types laundering MAGA talking points by pretending that sensitivity to language politics is elitism incarnate. Guess what? Giving a shit about how you treat people is the foundation of a consistent politics oriented towards justice, including anti-capitalism.

I think the important part is:
When a bubble bursts in space…
No one is there to hear it scream.
How do you cool a datacenter in space, and what happens if a piece of dust or something needs to get removed, or a wire gets loose

In fact, sometimes I wonder that society hasn't lost out a little bit by them choosing sports as their passion versus other topics. That's how good they are at their craft.

And yet, when I think of Matt Doyle, I

what makes something "vulnerable to AI" is not the capacity of machines but the credulity of management.
Of course, it is also true that historians jobs may in practice be vulnerable to AI, because a lot of people who control the money for historian jobs probably haven’t thought much about where history comes from, either.

Oh man, I don’t like to see this. I have hated the direction MLS has gone the past couple of years. They have managed to alienate the fans of the league while replacing it with… not much. But this is too much. Hoping the best for Matt and for all the crew that pulled me into the league.
Fifteen years ago, I got my dream job writing for MLSsoccer. Last week, that came to an end.

I'm off on my own, and it's time to build something new – with a little help from all of you.
