Donald Trump foments and supports violence against anyone who disagrees with him.
This should go without saying, but Trump is not opposed to political violence. He’s opposed to violence against his political allies.

He is either silent about, or approving of, violence against his political enemies.

The head of the Republican Party will head into the midterms trying to invade Greenland, impose higher taxes on consumers, terrorize American cities, build a lavish ballroom, refuse to release the Epstein files, and pardon drug dealers and fraudsters.

I think there is some information in there that isn't familiar to a lot of people. Including that the US is currently holding three times as many people in immigration detention as were detained in the entire Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939—six years into the Third Reich.

More Democrats need to follow Gallego's lead and call out the fact that Trump *is* behaving like a madman! This is obvious and clear and you can hold Republican feet to the fire over it!
Worth tracking down tonight's Anderson Cooper's AC360, first ten minutes, w Sen @gallego.senate.gov .

Gallego is holding nothing back. (See attached image, from this story www.rawstory.com/ruben-galleg... I heard this live.)

Text gives you the gist; worth finding video for the vibe.

Said another way,

The State has outsourced the job of consumer protection for condo purchases to private consumer attorneys for 3+ decades.

That hasn’t improved the quality of construction and is correlated with lower condo construction.

It’s time for state to actually regulate market.

If you want better policy, elect more Democrats. Every race, every year, every place. This dumbass solution is the only one that works.

The advanced version is "also, elect better Dems whenever you can". It requires holding two ideas in your head at the same time so many struggle with it
The VA senate got to these today, and all passed as expected

Abortion rights: 21-18
Post-incarceration voting rights: 21-18
Gay marriage: 26-13
Redistricting: 21-18

April 21st is the first eligible Tuesday, so that’s my guess for referendum EDay
the four VA constitutional amendments passed the HoD

Abortion rights: 64-34
Post-incarceration voting rights: 65-33
Gay marriage: 67-31
Redistricting: 62-33-1

Think the earliest referendum Election Day would be April 21, so early voting would start in early March

A M4.9 quake occurred this evening north of Indio. It is east of the San Andreas fault, far enough away to not change the likelihood of a quake on the San Andreas. It's located very near the minor EW-striking Blue Cut fault

Inhumane and incredibly short-sighted. These meds keep people healthy and protect their partners and communities. This is a death sentence for people who can’t afford the meds ($20k plus per year) and will lead to more infections, more drastically altered lives, and more need for assistance.
Catastrophe: Florida's Department of Health is stopping coverage for antivirals to 10,000 low-income people with HIV infection, blaming impending federal cuts to the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. 12.5% of Americans with HIV live in Florida.
Thousands to lose access to HIV drugs with new cuts
An estimated 10,000 people are about to lose access to their HIV medication as the Florida Department of Health makes cuts to the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).

Yet another example of the idiocy of the Supreme Court’s immunity opinion: If Trump invades Greenland, even for the most insane reason (like not winning the Nobel Peace Prize) and against our obvious national interest, it’s an “official act” that can never be held legally accountable

One of my fave political stories ever: when Maine’s GOP then-Gov LePage thought that not signing bills by deadline meant they’d die.

So he ignored all these Dem bills, thinking it’d kill them.

But in Maine, if Gov just does nothing (rather than veto), a bill becomes law.

So they all became law.

Q: Did you invite Putin to be on the Board of Peace?

TRUMP: Yeah. He's been invited

Q: Thoughts on Macron saying he won't join?

TRUMP: Did he say that? Nobody wants him bc he's going to be out of office very soon. If they feel hostile, I'll put a 200% tariff on his wines & champagnes & he'll join

Trump coming in strong again with the delusions. And I mean that in the most clinical sense of the word, as in “a false belief not based in reality.”
Trump on his message in Davos: "The primary message is how well the United States is doing. And I say it all the time -- a year and half ago we were a dead country, and now we have the hottest country in the world"

I'm sure this was only because the Canadians insisted and they get a say in NORAD. When the commander of Pituffik tried to tactfully distance herself from the annexation talk in a similar way after Vance's visit last year, she was promptly fired.
NORAD announces its aircraft will arrive at the US base in Greenland, and because of EVERYTHING GOING ON, has to stress repeatedly that this is a routine, long-planned operation that the Kingdom of Denmark is aware of. x.com/noradcommand...

This is a really important story, and one that explains the place of the Hmong community in the Twin Cities and why this entire occupation is really just ethnic cleansing (my words). Also, props to Marisa for doing the work to get this story right when so many out-of-town journalists have failed.
New — I wrote about ChongLy Scott Thao, the elderly Hmong American wrongly arrested and forced out of his home by ICE in his underwear during the punishing Minnesota winter, what witnesses saw, and DHS's racist claim that he fit the description of another Asian man they were looking for.

My story:
Behind the disturbing image of ICE snatching a half-naked, elderly Hmong American from his home
DHS has claimed without evidence that they were looking for someone else when they took ChongLy Scott Thao.
