“it is illegal for you not to like me”
This is the logical and inevitable conclusion of the last decade of elite media "free speech" discourse.

Don't know why Chris Hayes is worried about lethal diseases returning to kill American children. This is the GOP chaos Hayes and Sarandon giggled about on the air as being a necessary precursor to the Bern It All to Ashes Revolution.

Phone calls home help maintain the connection when loved ones are separated maintaining that connection can translate into a softer landing when being released. This is just cruel and bad policy if you truly want people to be rehabilitated, which we know they don’t.
“Making incarcerated people pay for communication has a regressive effect on their well-being, on their improvement in prison, and after they are released,” says Wanda Betram, a spokesperson for the Prison Policy Initiative.
Priced Out of Phone Calls Home
The FCC blocked Biden-era limits on the exorbitant rates and fees charged by prison telecom companies, leaving incarcerated people and their families to fight for state-level reforms.

There's a lot of people I respect who cannot come to terms with the fact that this is what the American people voted for, they're getting it good and hard, and there is little to nothing a minority party can do to stop it.

Republicans ran on a platform of mass deportation and they're delivering.
This is outright Nazi stuff, and Democrats in Congress aren’t doing enough to try and stop it.
WaPo reports that ICE is planning 7 massive human warehouses holding 5,000 to 10,000 people.

Recalls the acting ICE director 2015 statement that he wanted to see a “business”-oriented approach to deportations, “like [Amazon] Prime, but with human beings”.

kavanaugh not beating the allegations that he’s a dumbass
Brett Kavanaugh (September 2025): The facts and how they relate to the law don’t matter. Assume ICE and other federal forces always act with integrity, always respect rights, and consistently impose minimal burden.

Brett Kavanaugh (December 2025): Should I not have done that? Was that wrong?
Kavanaugh in a footnote in today's opinion says "the officers must not make interior immigration stops or arrests based on race or ethnicity."

I wonder if Americans realize that candy/chocolate in the cinema is an extremely American thing. I think pretty much everyone has popcorn at the movies. Churros? Sometimes, yeah. Donuts? For sure. My cinema has hot dogs but few ppl buy them because of the smell. CANDY, tho? Pure America. I dunno Y.
