Shaffer is one of the most well-funded candidates in the city. She gave $5,000 to her Republican brother.

Why not reject slimy slumlord money from a guy who doesn't live here?

apparently when questioned about accepting landlord money from 110 grant resident, elizabeth shaffer says “it’s only $600.” if that’s the case, why not return it? it’s only $600. make a show of it, rejecting money from this slumlord who gave half a million to trump. tell him you reject his values

JFC. Ron DeHaas, founder of the Christian antiporn app Covenant Eyes, has stepped down from NCOSE after his 38-year old son was charged with sexual abuse of a child.

Covenant Eyes is the app used by House Speaker Mike Johnson and his son to monitor each other's internet behavior.

These are the people Mayor Frey and his allies have aligned themselves with - along with Republican donors - in order to hold onto power.

But we know voters are ready for a mayor and council who put working residents first.

A court found that the “landlord broke the law when he blocked democratic socialists from door knocking.”

Evidence at the hearing included testimony of a Zoom call where former Frey campaign manager Joe Radinovich advised landlords how to “inconvenience and stall candidates.”
Title text: "Malcolm Yards Malcontents Broke the Law" over the text, "During that meeting, Patricia Wall and Joe Radinovich, Frey's former campaign manager, discussed ways to inconvenience and stall the candidates within the confined of the law, testified Kelly Rogers, another attendee. Radinovich did not respond to provide comment." Next to a photo of Joe Radinovich.

As we all know, landlords are spending big in this year’s elections to make sure their interests are protected in a city where over half the residents are renters.

But they’re not just spending money. They’re breaking the law. Case in point: Malcolm Yards’ John Wall.
Title text: "Malcolm Yards Malcontents Broke the Law" over a screenshot from the Star Tribune with the title "Court: Minneapolis landlord broke law when he blocked democratic socialists from door knocking" next to a photo of John Wall and over text, "John Wall, Landlord who kept Robin Wonsley and Michael Wilson out of his buildings was found guilty of breaking state law earlier this week."

I dunno, feels like reaching the “hiding your neighbors from the masked secret police” stage of things in like 9 months doesn’t bode well for the next couple of years.

According to multiple sources, the WNBA's latest CBA proposal includes a supermax closer to $850,000 & a vet min hovering around $300,000 in year 1

The two sides remain at odds w. Engelbert's frayed relationships extending to team presidents and owners.

VIBE REPORT: It's getting to the point that if you want to stop the Fateh juggernaut, "moderates" better flip their first choice from Frey to DeWayne Davis. Sorry Frey fans, I didn't make the ranked choice rules.

For downtown Minneapolis to succeed, this is what we need. Small cafes everywhere *at street level*, safe traffic-calmed streets, activities for kids, and much more greenery (not just grass).
volts.wtf
Been strolling around central Madrid this evening, two observations:

1. The outdoor-cafe game here is so on point. They are everywhere! Tucked in every nook & cranny. Everyone is outside, *with one another*.
2. People live here, there are schools here, & so there are families with kids everywhere.
