Bass practice update: I’m still fumbling and terrible! I still love it! Focusing on some repetitive exercises to help train my hands/get better dexterity. So it’s fortunate I live alone, because no one should have to hear this mess😂. Really fun, and I’m glad to be learning something totally new

I am 55, and I remember the grim death sentence of AIDS in the 80s/90s, I lost SO MANY people. Funerals almost every week. People I loved were considered disposable.

A little reminder: when AIDS was new, and considered “the gay plague” economists Richard Posner & Tomas Philipson gave cost saving advice to the Reagan administration - let them die, because it will be cheaper and save on Medicaid and Social Security payouts.
