My two older children went to a cooperative preschool, which is essentially run by the parents, extremely hands on, with mandatory parenting classes to boot. Wanted to teach. After lots of hiccups like unexpected baby no. 3, worldwide pandemic, etc, I am now working toward teacher certification.

Kind of a soul-crushing situation toward the end of my work day today. My heart hangs heavy. I hope I am more fulfilled that I get to help kids than I am saddened by what I encounter. Not everybody needs to be having kids. I’ll leave it there.
