Mr France. I am so disappointed. France has given is some of the most ill-thought out and poor taste outfits over the years and this is just *dull*. And also badly fitting. I so expect so much better from France (by which I mean much worse)
Argh.

This is just the plastic straw hysteria all over again, and it's ableism at its finest: Blame disabled people instead of the corporations that are actually wrecking our environment, that way to poor widdle CEOs won't have to deal with people telling them to fucking STOP KILLING THE PLANET.

I studied it in my first year of uni and loved it! It suits the thing I'm writing for exposition and theme, too. :)
Starting the week with editing my pastiche of Old English poetry. It's a fun start 😁 #AmWriting

Hi Internet! I'm Drew and THIS IS MY FACE.

If this GIF has ever brought you joy in the past, I humbly ask you to consider making a donation to the National MS Society. It would mean a lot to me and to those I know affected by the disease!

approximately three hundred of you have sent me this and you know what? Sure. I’ve got time today. Put 40 bulbs of garlic in my pasta, coming right up
Bought 'One Yellow Eye' at EdgeLit after hearing about it at the panel on scaring your audience, and then going up to Leigh and saying hello. She very kindly signed my copy and was just lovely💛 And then I started reading and couldn't put it down. Finished it yesterday, in floods of tears. Loved it.
Really looking forward to this 🥰
This series has so far felt a bit more giggly and honestly I'm here for it 😁
Hnnnngh that whole thing about EDS and local anaesthetics sure is an Actual Thing isn't it. (Ow.)
Sunday bath with The Kitchen Cabinet. Perfect, especially given I'm going to have a go at making kedgeree in a bit 💙

Out of curiosity I did a google trends search for "are orange cats dumb". As you can see, there was nothing for 17 years and then a distinct change in late 2021 which is when @jortsthecat.bsky.social hit the internet. 😆
Had a great day at Edge-Lit, learning lots, hanging out with lovely people (and a dog!) & buying books.

And then I looked up the puppet from @mrholness.bsky.social's film Possum and well now I am deeply unhappy. Looking forward to watching it in the comfort of my own home and hiding behind my cat.

Pet parrots which typically live alone (whilst those in the wild live in large flocks) were given the technology to call each other. They would use it for up to three hours a day, and developed favourite friends 💔
