I beat Silksong, which I think is a pretty good achievement given how much brain fog has been going on in this skull lately.

That TikTok account has a few fake videos of reporters getting detained. They make these videos because it’s a big story in the news. Real reporters are getting arrested. And so people are making AI videos to get engagement on TikTok.

Every time the government accepts money from the gambling industry, it increases its debts to companies whose business models are based on preying on young and vulnerable people, and doing them harm.

The Albanese government does this again and again.

It's a brilliant Brisbane Spring day, I'm sitting in a cafe drinking an iced mocha, and I don't have anything specific to do. Sometimes it's good to savour the little joys in life when you can.

Just so we’re clear: Labor is choosing to work with the worst possible party on environmental issues, instead of the Greens and teals who actually want environmental regulation.
And Watt is already admitting it won’t have a climate trigger …

One of the things I hate is when organisations change the name of their jobs to sound less "corporate" because all it does is obscure what jobs people actually have, and makes it harder to find the right person to contact.

Media flurry about the biomarker test for ME. 🧪

It's a promising discovery stage study but what needs to be done to turn this into a validated biomarker?! 🧵

Infographic titled “ME Biomarker Claims” with a header “Latest Research.” Image shows test tubes, one filled with red liquid as a pipette adds a drop, symbolizing biomedical testing. Text summarises: researchers using EpiSwitch® found immune-linked chromatin markers distinguishing ME/CFS patients from controls, but small sample size and limited validation make biomarker claims premature. Dear Package Delivery Companies: Just tell me when you deliver my package. I don't need to know:
1. That it's leaving the depot
2. That it's in transit (I intuited that from the previous text)
3. That it's about to be delivered, and
4. That it has indeed just been delivered
