His salary for this weekly column was reported to be a cool mill a year, meaning this complaint about people asking for too much earned him £19k.
A constant blazing terror that somewhere, somebody might be getting a free cheese sandwich. Or indeed brief use of a wheelchair.

Always interesting seeing people post friendmas pictures at this time of year, and everyone at their party has exactly the same body type...

One regular thing I see from supporters of the U16 social media ban is that they somehow think it will stop children accessing porn.

While I do think access to pornography is a real problem for teens, we all realise this social media ban will do nothing to address that, right?

Tell that to the heartbroken daughter of a friend who’s quit guides because of this shameful move, Joanne. She can’t bear to see trans girls excluded.

Your Harry Potter money funds this shit. Don’t buy in.
But what if the "thing of their own" is a friendship with a girl in Guides who happens to be trans?

I honestly think Rowling has lost touch with how real people's lives actually work.

And, also, Rowling's movement is gearing up to get girls kicked out of Scouts, so this "answer" is horseshit.

Just a note that when a freelancer like me asks "what's the deadline" for edits or whatever saying "however long you need" is not a good answer.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.
