1) So, still working on repairs. Currently scheduled for Oct 7th, the Tomato is going in the shop to have the timing belt, alternator and AC/power steering belts and head gasket replaced, to the tune of $1500 total.

1) Ok, the Tomato is back in my possession (and I'm $1600 poorer) after a new timing belt with 2 pulleys, new waterpump, new thermostat housing, new alternator and accessory belts, valve cover gasket, plenum gasket, spark plug, coil and engine mount strut and oil change.

I feel like people who don't do art don't really understand the ongoing joke about how we don't wanna write/draw/etc.

We do actually really want to. In fact, it is not possible to stop us.

It's just that a lot of the creative process looks a lot like doing the dishes or staring at the wall.

But why should we accept AI slop flooding the market to make it more difficult to find actual art, and why make it harder for people who enjoy making art to make a profit from it? I can't think of any artist, (painter, photographer, writer) who doesn't enjoy crafting their art.
