Going back through DMs, we first spoke May 31st. I told her I was actively in cancer treatment and couldn't work or engage. By June 2nd she was pitching for herself. By the 6th she found a publisher and explained why, although in process of a PhD myself, I didn't qualify as a co-author. One week.
Sorry but I am FED UP with this happening repeatedly. @mariascott.bsky.social found out I had made a significant discovery in French history and initially encouraged me to publish. I explained I was going through cancer treatment but intended to. She then decided to steal my work & publish herself.

He's calling for ICE to be abolished on The View
Mamdani: I am in support of abolishing ICE… I'm tired of waking up every day and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car, dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life.

can you think of a reason i might have different expectations of mamdani and schumer. just shout em out. any one reason
The pivot from "Mamdani is a political genius for focusing his message almost entirely on affordability" to "Schumer is a political moron for focusing his message almost entirely on affordability" is odd.

my friends this is an actual odyssey
I just woke up from a nap and somehow while I was asleep, everyone on the bus has figured out we are not going to the right place

FuLoon in Malden, MA. Boston does not lack for great Sichuan food, but FuLoon was extra special. Everything was incredible, but the bang bang chicken, yu hsiang eggplant, hot and sour Mandarin cabbage, and tofu skin knots with pork were standouts.

my bucket is fuck Schumer
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

It's been six months since the last round. This company hasn't known what it's doing for a long time, and getting rid of the DEI team screams it's about to be sold off. Solidarity to my former colleagues forever 🌺

A very important thing for you to know about Icelandic is that the word "rassgat" (butthole) is used as an endearment about cute things. So if you say someone is "algjört rassgat" (a total butthole) it means they are VERY cute. If the cuteness is overwhelming we say "rúsínurassgat" (raisin asshole).

Hey folks Calvary Food Shelf has been helping out people in Minneapolis for 30 years, and now they’re ramping up to meet the crisis, including doing home deliveries so people don’t have to risk going out.

They’re just over halfway to their current goal—let’s get them all the way, shall we?

153 Democrats just joined 188 Republicans to pass HR 7006, which
•Sends $3.3B to Israel (including offensive weapons)
•Bans any attempt at Palestinian liberation
•Sends $50M to Venezuela

Only 57 Democrats voted no.

Americans still don't have healthcare.
