"The U.S. military has killed more than 80 people since the campaign began in early September. But it does not know who specifically is being killed, and the strikes were not designed to take out high-ranking cartel leaders."

Moldova's Foreign Ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador to hand him a note of protest after six Russian drones flew into Moldova's airspace during the massive attack on Ukraine.

A Russian drone that fell down in Moldova was placed by the Foreign Ministry for the ambassador's visit.

No formal review. No transparency over funding. Nearly 2x the size of the White House (and Trump wants it bigger). Architect has never designed anything near this size. Insanely fast time to complete it. Trump as micromanager.

What could go wrong?
Trump wants a bigger White House ballroom. His architect disagrees.
The president and James McCrery had argued in recent weeks over the project’s size, with Trump pushing him to expand the ballroom.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.
The headline is amazing. The foreign policy chaos that may sell out Ukraine is horrifying. The picture is of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, nominally the nation's top diplomat and also the National Security Advisor, who may or may not have called senators to disavow the plan he insists he co-wrote.

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Just a reminder that I'm happy to speak to any journalist, or to recommend other scholars to do so, about why prejudice and "potentially divisive symbols" like swastikas (!) are so harmful to morale and cohesion in militaries
U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The military service, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security, has drafted a new policy that classifies such items “potentially divisive.”
