reasons i am not hitting the panic button: EU leaders haven’t observed any military movements, trump doesn’t actually have a check to write without congress on this, neither greenland nor denmark are willing to sell. lots of other ways it could go sideways, i guess, but those are substantial
i am not *entirely* convinced they are seriously considering taking it by force, but congress (specifically, republican senators) really need to dig their heads out of their asses and behave as if they are serious about it
