Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

With his attempts to end birthright citizenship, President Trump seeks to create a subclass of Americans denied their rights as American citizens.

We refuse to let that happen. We’re fighting back at the Supreme Court.

Hello repro writers from the mid to late 20 teens - I just discovered Cosmopolitan at some point pulled almost every politics/repro story from the 5 years I wrote for them offline (except two, which they put under someone else's name and gave me "additional reporting" which it very much was not)

Again, Pelosi personally did half of all presidential impeachments in American history
Pelosi herself has been more responsibility for the growth of elite impunity culture than any other top Dem. She seems to regard the imposition of consequences on politicians as intolerably risky for the people doing the imposing, and consistently acted in ways to prevent it from happening.

they achieved their goal of total power over the government and they thought that meant the Cathedral would collapse, the spell would be broken, and everyone would shower them with adulation.

turns out none of that is true, and people only hate them even more. it's broken their brains.
such loser babies. somehow in control of all three branches of government and mad because no one respects them. all their goals are cultural and they got nothing.
This is the logical and inevitable conclusion of the last decade of elite media "free speech" discourse.

I’m not sure calling it “mutual aid” is a winning position because people are weird about terms like this but it’s important to demonstrate that government can deliver services that people need. In that context, I’m starting to see the promise of what Kat Abu’s campaign is trying to do.
