“It’s definitely welcomed news — very happy to hear it — but with the caveat that this whole thing took way too long,” said Lisa Warwick, whose husband, Scot, died after Weiner subjected him to 11 years of unnecessary treatments including chemo.

No they’re not you propaganda rag
Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.
A Wealth Tax Floated in California Has Billionaires Thinking of Leaving
It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

This is a great example not just of Nazism being normalized, but of being so removed from the consequences of Nazism that it becomes just a thought exercise. I mean, hey, 20 years ago this avowed antisemite couldn’t even have been part of polite society and look at him now!
Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis on Nick Fuentes running for president one day.

Rogan: “He could probably win in a few years. Listen, he couldn’t have existed before, right? Ten, twenty years ago, couldn’t have existed. Now, super popular. What’s twenty years from now look like?”

Nothing to see here, just a right wing hyper-nationalist government going to their party’s youth event sponsored by a group with a martyred leader they’ve pledged to avenge, recruiting people to join their masked police force devoted to removing auslanders from ze homeland.

You’d think a Democrat wouldn’t be stupid enough to back more government control over the internet under this fascist administration under the pretense of “save the children,” but Dick Durbin has a rock tumbler for a brain.
Children are being exploited and abused because Big Tech consistently prioritizes profits over people.

Enough is enough. Time to sunset Section 230.

Don't want to unfairly dunk on this guy, because pro-Eisenhower propaganda has convinced people that he was George McGovern with an R next to his name, but Eisenhower was an awful President for anyone who considers themselves a friend of progress, and in this thread, I'll cover why. 🧵

A left wing politics that is oriented around your rights and identity as an individual consumer instead of your responsibilities as a member of a social or political community is basically a left aesthetic pasted onto an internalized neoliberal ontology.

While this is good progress, I think this story is making it sound like more members are shifting away than actually are.

Also even PACs like J Street are problematic. Israel is an apartheid state and needs fundamental changes that J street doesn’t advocate for. Get money out of politics.

This is great! Why aren’t more democrats doing this? Especially in states like California?

I mean I know why, this is a rhetorical question, it’s because they are greedy and self centered and don’t actually represent the working class

You literally just signed a deal expanding oil production in the state of California, shut up you hypocrite
Further proof that Donald Trump lives in an alternate universe.

While the Trump Administration uselessly funnels hundreds of millions of dollars into a deadly industry, California will continue to lead the nation with cheaper, more effective renewable energy sources.
Breaking News: The Trump administration outlined a plan to revive the coal industry, including opening 13.1 million acres of federal land for mining.
