as a (virtually) lifelong NYer here's the deal: all pizza is good. deep dish rules. detroit pizza is goated. lunch lady cafeteria pizza was a joy. the only dubious pizza culture is california because it tries too hard but even (most) california pizza is fantastic. grow up

I didn't think it's bad to advocate for a world where choosing not to do evil jobs is easier, or even pointing out that some people are so unfortunate they feel the need to make that choice. But maybe we don't need to do "think of the poor ice agents" until they at least are facing consequences
that choice was made in a system that provides few jobs that pay well with benefits, respect & opportunity to those who don't hale from society's "upper crust."
How many would choose to work at ICE or the military if they had better job opportunities that didn't require them to mete out torture?
