The surrender caucus secured yes votes from Democrats who aren't facing re-election this cycle, but four of them have Democratic governors who can pick their replacement.
If you live in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maine or Virginia this is an easy and effective way to make your anger clear.

Yup, and the damage isn’t so much in the story as in the proof of weakness. Trump now knows he has new torture tools to make Dems do what he wants. It’s why at least one of the 7 capitulators oughta be run out of office now, mid session. Get that number down to 6. www.offmessage.net/p/16-thought...

The historian in me feels the need to note that contests between cities and their rural hinterland are not new things and they do not generally go great for the rural folks.
California alone produces a third of all the food America eats. So this is a lie.
But let’s break down the food produced by the red states:
Guess what percent is harvested by people from Latin America?

I'd like more reviewers to take stands. If you find the use of generative AI in game development repugnant and you find its use ruins a game for you, then that's the review you should write. And that low score is the score you should give.

Still processing the inanity of this cave, like, "We're going to make Republicans go on record that they want to destroy the ACA." You mean the motherfuckers who radicalized in opposition to it & voted to repeal it, like, 22 times? You're finally getting them on record? Really impressed over here
“If Schumer really wanted to use his considerable influence and leverage to stop this, he could have done that,” a senior Democratic Senate aide tells Zeteo. “He didn’t.”
Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Like Ben and Joey and everyone else who has worked in LA, I’ve experienced this. In June the cops were using wild volumes of less lethals and seriously injured several fellow journalists.
The chief and cops that continue to shoot journalists and interfere with our work need to be held in contempt.
From the horse’s mouth, the LAPD does not want to follow the federal injunction handed down to them.
No consequences = no accountability

LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell released a statement about the dept’s opposition to the injunction that protects journalists at protests. Their biggest hang-up is not being able to freely use less-lethals on people to “de-escalate” protests.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.
Why?
It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.
