I think in Congressional hearings and even journalistic interviews, if the questioned is prefaced with “please answer yes or no” and your answer is neither yes nor no, the person asking the question gets to throw a shoe at you. Like that guy did to W Bush

For the damage done (& it was substantial), the 1 good thing that came from the troll rage at Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi was Lucasfilm dropping plans for a trilogy made by him. It freed him to give us the Knives Out films. I loved The Last Jedi but love even more Johnson’s own voice as a filmmaker

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
