*nods seriously* okay I see the problem. you weren't supposed to include the military in this survey.

I'm with my inlaws for the holidays and they brewed a pot of Black Rifle coffee.

I have never had the stuff for obvious reasons.

It tastes awful.

I know it's not the most important thing, but we need to make an active effort to fight back against the appropriation of American symbolism and mythos from these ghouls.
It won't be difficult, since most of it is AI slop and cherrypicked quotes from men who would hate them.
New: We got an internal ICE document revealing its $100 million ad plan to bring in 14,000 new hires: deals with "tactical" influencers; ads to gun & military buffs; and geo-targeting phones around NASCAR races and gun shows.

No surprise here. What an insane saga.
1. Lawfare's most read article of 2025 was @annabower.bsky.social's report of Lindsey Halligan, the U.S. attorney who led the prosecution of Letitia James, sending her a Signal message about Bower's reporting on the James indictment.

Read what followed:

This 4-5 sentence expectation is not only insane for a Secretary of Defense, it is insane for an Army Major.
I'm pretty sure you don't need a Ranger Tab to find the time to read more than five sentences on a key issue a week. Officers read a LOT.
Example 2: Hegseth did not want detailed updates of the conditions of the war - nothing more than 4-5 sentences

Pedialyte was my weekend thing during OCS. Drinking that stuff made me feel like a person again. It's nostalgic for me.
They would decide it's a conspiracy or something.
One of the things that's wild about MAHA on social media is they're also vilifying Pedialyte and Ensure.

So not only do they want you to not do anything that can stop you from getting sick (masking, vaccinating) they also don't want you to effectively treat yourself once you are sick.

"The dismissal or sidelining of senior military leaders by the secretary—often without clear explanation—began from the start of this year, and it sent a troubling signal throughout the force that professional disagreement may carry extreme personal risk. That perception alone is corrosive."
It Was a Bad Year for the American Military
No one should be surprised.

Describing the CIA Director exchanging our national security secrets for sex with the author of your vanity biography sure is something.
But if you "run the government like a business," I guess it's no big deal.
Saw this on Facebook and uh I think the correct phrase is actually "finally got caught" lol

Oldass Jon Voight is still working and getting roles in Hollywood despite being one of the most pro-Trump guys out there. Same with Sylvester Stallone.
I wonder what they have that Rob Schneider doesn't.
The "lost the rest of my barbershop quartet" guy thinks it's his politics that keep the roles away

This is 100% the case and you cannot convince me otherwise.
I have a theory that many of the ICE operators we're seeing are the military's vax refusers and were both not very good at being servicemembers and now are absolute dorks given access to the gear they never got to mess around with while in uniform.
I cannot get over these cops wearing night vision to arrest a dude on a Southwest Airlines flight in broad daylight.

Betcha a shiny nickel this is because they told their LLM to redact all the initials used to identify minor victims and so it also redacted S.D.N.Y.
I have seen DOJ do some strange redactions before, but this is up there:
