There it is. This is all 'great replacement' crap. Plenty of young, energetic people in the world if what one is actually worried about is sustaining a population that lives longer due to medical advances.

Also, we should address aging care because that falls on the shoulders of the young, too.
The U.S. is forcing massive deportations of working-age people with jobs who're contributing to the safety net, while conservatives drape themselves in concern for an aging population.

This is entirely about nativism.

Walk into my neighborhood ACE last night & see the signage on their door notifying fed agents that it’s private property and cannot be used for immigration enforcement. These signs are all over the city.

Walk in & the nearest shelf has goggles & whistles.

It is not just that they refuse to investigate the actual killer.

Minnesota DOJ prosecutors resigned after Trump appointees pushed to investigate the victim's wife.

This is our justice system now: guilt or innocence are determined based on political criteria, no investigation needed. DOJ pursues a former FBI Director, or Chair of the Federal Reserve on trumped up charges, but refuses to investigate a killer.
NEW: Top DOJ officials quit after their division refused to probe Minnesota ICE shooting - At least four leaders of the Civil Rights Division resigned because the section's head, Harmeet Dhillon, decided not to investigate shooting of Renee Good.

None of the DoJ people who have been resigning over the last year are squishy liberals. Many likely would have served willingly in a DoJ run by legitimate, lawful conservatives. But this is an unhinged regime of crooks, sycophants, and morons.
Breaking News: Three Minnesota federal prosecutors resigned over the Justice Department’s push to investigate the wife of Renee Good, the woman killed by an ICE agent. The Justice Department sought to examine her supposed ties to activist groups.

It’s wild because we’re supposed to believe the police can find anyone at anytime due to their incredible intelligence and detective abilities, but also they have to murder anyone who doesn’t allow themselves to be apprehended in that moment, or they’ll be gone forever.
…not murder them? right? not repeatedly shoot them in the face and murdering them. this doesn’t feel hard.

The Daily had an interview with the MPD chief. They’re getting regular 911 calls because federal agents are leaving cars in the street after detaining people. Local officers are overwhelmed, feel ICE/BP are putting them at risk with dangerous tactics, unraveling progress made since George Floyd.
It's 10am in Minneapolis and rapid response is underwater, reports of chemicals deployed already.

As others have pointed out, the ratio of feds (with more arriving) to residents and square mileage here is extreme compared to what we experienced in Chicago.

We are in freefall.

Just spitballing here, but I think the founders probably wouldn't have approved of a President putting the entirety of a highly militarized federal government on a war footing against a state because he didn't like how they voted in the last election. But I'm sure John Roberts knows what he's doing.
Trump just posted that the "day of reckoning & retribution is coming" in Minnesota.

The stated reason for ICE agents being in Minnesota is because of the ongoing fraud claims around daycare and other services.

The two prosecutors leading those investigations have now resigned in the wake of Renee Good’s shooting. Even the internal supposed logic of this deployment is falling apart

Scott Adams is dead. Without excusing or condoning anything he said, I think it was very hard for a lot of creative people, including him, to watch their entire art form collapse as newspapers stopped running comics, and that resentment was fertile soil for the reaction that he'll be remembered for.
