This feels like the medieval version of show thoughts. I love the playfulness in writing a poem complaining about how the sun darkens skin but doesn't darken beards and how you should be able to sue for that

So apparently there are many Epstein files on the DOJ website where you can highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it onto another document to read the redactions

I love the Invisible Library series, but its so funny its called the invisible library but the library in the book is not open to the general public and the series in general is consistently against open access to information and revealing the truth.

In her resignation statement, MTG breaks very dramatically with the secret-plan conspiracy theorists about what’s happening in DC.

I remember watching the Hermione skit on SNL when I was a kid. Emma Watson was, like, 15 at the time? The joke was that Hermione's breasts got large over summer break and all her friends, plus Snape and Hagrid, are perving on her.
I feel like maybe it’s a function of everyone online being born in 2002 but I don’t think most people realize how openly and explicitly pedophilic american culture was until like… maybe 10 years ago
Someone found an mp3 of the creepy "Jailbait" song Olivia Nuzzi released when she was 16 🫣

I am fundamentally opposed to podcasts being a part of awards shows as that flatters the delusion they have any merit other than being something you listen to while gaming to assuage the need to feel productive
The list of eligible podcasts is looking pretty bleak 😟

Read the Book that Wouldn't Burn for book club and that shit was ass lol. Overexplaining characters and repeating itself, moving along at a grinding pace for like 70% of the book, right before it decides to throw everything at you, creating an effect not unlike being slammed in a car crash

Playing the Ottomans in EU5 and the core gameplay loop is really fun. There's alot of things to juggle and alot of them work slowly - values drift over time, stability and estate satisfaction and so on take time to tick towards equilibrium, so its hard to evaluate how well one thing works.

If you want new media you need to build it, and people need to subscribe.

If Ellison and Musk want to spend hundreds of billions on legacy media and social networking sites we will need to build alternatives and turn those into bad investments.
Not even close to joking when I say this is the absolute highlight of my 20+ year career in journalism. I'm so gd proud. I'm so gd proud of our cofounders, and I'm so gd proud of our Flytrap community. Today, in this moment, we needed good news and good journalism more than ever and we're doing it.
WE DID IT

WE CAN PAY OUR FOUNDERS THIS YEAR

WE CAN FUND FREELANCERS NEXT YEAR

range depends on whether its a tactical sandwich or an assault sandwich
It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Some of my problems I have with CK3 are design decisions I disagree with, but a problem I have that seems like a real flaw in the game is that the game doesn't really do enough to create a cast of familiar characters to surround the player. You have friends and rivals but think about them so rarely

Yknow what's funny about The Incredibles is that after the superheroes got banned, the world was like, fine. There wasn't rampant crime in the streets or villains taking over the world. Bob had a wife and three kids and a beautiful house and a steady job. The biggest problem was that he was bored.
