How do we get @govpritzker.illinois.gov to do this in Illinois?
This is why I’m pushing for a state escrow account that holds federal funds before sending them on to Washington. If Trump wants to steal our tax dollars that were legally appropriated by Congress, then we should just be paying ourselves.
“Minnesota, New York, California, Illinois and Colorado will be cut off from around $7 billion in funding for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, which provides cash assistance to households with children, according to two people familiar with the matter.”

Monstrously cruel.

Democrat leaders on this platform want you to believe they are the party of resistance while supporting genocide, rubber stamping Trump's nominees, folding on trans rights, using far-right rhetoric about migrants, working with mass surveillance companies, getting mad they weren't in on a coup.

Among the many reasons you don’t kidnap a foreign head of state at gunpoint even if you have the capability, is that it sparks consequences you can neither control nor anticipate.

Left unsaid in all this is that Starmer is following all these journalists’ political beliefs. All of his policies are what they want. They’re trying desperately to find a reason for his unpopularity that doesn’t involve them having to question whether their beliefs are wrong.

you can equally easily answer this question by asking 'which members of the public is this party supposed to appeal to?' and realising that it's a demographic almost exclusively comprised of journalists
Glad the FT is asking the question. Even if I’m not convinced they found a compelling answer.
I get that Starmer & Reeves are unpopular, I really don’t understand the extent of the dislike.

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

I do not want a SINGLE AI thing in my whole life. Anywhere.

Nothing.

Not one thing.

It's existence has not improved any part of my life. In fact, it has tangibly worsened many parts.

Look at this. He left the LIGHT SWITCHES in the edited photos! These assholes look like their well-meaning mom took a picture of them on their first day in a grown-up job.

I will never understand how so many people argue “the government can’t effectively provide healthcare” when it’s one of the few things we know, for a fact, it can do, because it already does this. It’s like claiming the government can’t deliver mail. Buddy sit down you’re not gonna believe this

Prompts as simple as "[name] address" immediately returned accurate home addresses of private citizens — alongside other personal info we didn't ask for.
