She's got pale blue skin, pointed ears and greenish hair in two braids, and short horns on her head. She's dressed in a traditional Icelandic outfit with a short red scarf over a dark green vest with red trim. A patterned apron is under the jacket, all over a long black skirt. She has long, full sleeves, and is holding a staff with an elaborate crook at the end with a glowing, magical light hanging from it. Standing with her in this huge, indistinct snow field is The Yule Cat. Something like a black Norwegian Forest Cat but the size of a smallish elephant. In the distance are mountains, stars, and aurora borealis.

Now is the time of Yule and Monsters

Part of the top of the frame widens out into a red banner reading 'Gryla & Jólakötturinn'. Now get out there and try not to get eaten.

If you call other students "demonic" that is a violation of the student code of conduct at any university and merits a 0, so no it's not "too harsh."

*sigh* it is simultaneously true that 0/25 is probably too harsh a grade AND that if you are going balls to the wall to complain about the difference between a 0 and a F (say, 12-15), you are missing the forest for the trees. the suspension/investigation is the far more important issue.

Always liked Parker, so this nastiness is rather disappointing.

I’ll always defend trans rights as I have all my career. But I also believe in the First Amendment’s protecting people being wrong.

And that’s where my engagement will respectfully end for the day.

Keep seeing people upset about the “Mansion Tax” potentially ruining their retirement, there’s actually a very simple solution for you: you need to stop getting lattes from Starbucks, cancel your Netflix subscription and gym membership, oh and stop having avocados.

Star Trek The Next Generation scene. The Enterprise D gang is in Ten Forward standing around a beautifully decorated banquet table adorned with exotic flowers and lots of food.
